Imitation is the greatest form of glorification.

The nature of imitation.

We’ve all heard the phrase, Imitation is the greatest form of flattery. A son imitates his father, a student mirrors their teacher, and creation reflects its Creator. It’s in our nature; we’re born to imitate. But this imitation goes deeper than simple mimicry—we’re created for it.

But, how do we know our imitations aren’t just hollow reflections or shallow copies of what came before? How do we discern whether they hold any true value?

The need for a standard.

To answer these questions, we need a standard. Not just any standard, but an objective one—one that was true a thousand years ago and will remain true ten thousand years from now. This raises an important question: Where do we find such a standard?

I’d argue we don’t. It finds us—or rather, He does.

If God, the Creator of all things, is the ultimate standard we’re called to imitate, how do we know we’re doing that well? How can we embody the words of the Apostle Paul, who said, “Imitate me, as I imitate Christ”?

Examining truth, goodness, and beauty.

In the first episode of our show Transcendentals, we took a deep dive into the concept of the transcendentals—truth, goodness, and beauty—attributes most clearly revealed through the unfolding of creation in Genesis 2. This framework shows us God’s creational roadmap to help us better discern whetherour imitations are faithfully reflecting the One whom is the source of all truth, goodness and beauty.

Our commitment to the standard.

At The Liminals, we’re deeply committed to this standard in all our media and entertainment efforts. Our aim isn’t simply to churn out content for its own sake but to reflect that which is eternally good, true, and beautiful and the feedback we’ve gotten from our clients and audiences alike, affirms this commitment

“Christ is worthy! Looking forward to everything upcoming,” said The Liminals TV user Matt. Another user, Adrian, shared, “Listened to the podcast… I’m looking forward to the next episode. Keep up the good work!” And one anonymous user encouraged us with, “Great to hear you take a firm stance on truth and not compromising… keep up the awesome work.”

This same applies to our marketing. We don’t just build websites or spit out content; we infuse every project with meaningful, measurable impact. Our goal? To elevate our clients creative to a new standard, leaving them with something truly glorious. Take it from some of our recent clients:

“Working with The Liminals on the development of my website was a pleasure from onboarding right through to delivery!” is how Derek put it. Similarly, Deb shared, “The Liminals built my landing page in no time. I’ve already hired them again to improve our branding and UX!”

A mission rooted in ultimate truth.

These aren’t isolated stories successes. They reflect our ongoing commitment to holding ourselves to a higher standard, rooted in ultimate Truth and inspired by the beauty of creation. Whether it’s through podcasts, films, websites, everything we do is grounded in this mission: to create art and media that point back to the Creator.
