Vandermolen approached The Liminals to rebuild trust in an industry often clouded by skepticism. The goal was to transform a traditional accounting firm into a modern brand that embodies clarity and confidence. We set out to craft a visual identity that felt approachable yet deeply rooted in the firm’s heritage, freeing business owners to focus on their growth rather than their books.
Brand Identity
The identity for Vandermolen was built on the intersection of heritage and modern precision. We shifted away from the stale, “numbers-only” aesthetic of traditional firms toward a visual language that emphasizes proactive partnership.
By utilizing a refined typographic system and an intentional layout, we created a brand that feels both established and incredibly fresh. The design focuses on “human-centered finance”—prioritizing clear communication and premium textures that signal reliability. The result is a clean, authoritative aesthetic that simplifies the complex, ensuring the firm’s visual presence is as sharp and organized as the finances they manage.
